Aircraft Pilots Chair Let L410 Turbolet

An original pilots chair from a Czech manufactured Let L410 Turbolet.
The L410 was a small airliner/transport that was used by civilian and military operators. They are still in use flying in Asia, Africa, Americas, Pacific and Europe. They first flew in early 1970's so chair is up to 55 years old.
This is the right hand captains chair. The right hand side if the seat is straight as it sat against the central console. The left hand side is cranked outwards as there was access form the side.
It is fully height adjustable and quite comfortable as a task or gaming chair.
The height adjust scissor action allows it to be raised and lowered by turning the handle at the front.
This chair has a fixed base and all new leather cushions.
This seat has been in an aircraft museum for several decades without anyone knowing what it was from. We acquired it and identified it from the various fittings.
We have repainted the base in the original RAL SilverGrey paint and made a laminated wood base plate that uses the original seat back/front rollers to hold it in place.
We have manufactured new blue leather seat cushions with flame retardant foam and wadding.
A rare and usable item.
