These pieces all came from a a number of Hurricanes that were used as templates for a Hurricane restoration.
There are at least 4 aircraft in the collection. The majority of the parts are made by Gloster or by Canadian Car Foundry. There are part numbers and original paint including roundel sections. A few panel which are mainly from the under carriage are Russian lend lease due to the very distinct Russian paint color.
The panels are from the wing centre section both skinning and internal structure. Some of the structure is large.

Letter or phone holder
This U shaped metal bracket support from the inner girder of the top boom of the Hurricane centre wing. Has the part number A72668 1 which can be found in the parts list and diagrams.
We have mounted it on a piece of heavy lignum vitae palo santos hardwood with rivets and the name (Hawker Hurricane) has been laser engraved onto the front.
Can be a desk tidy or phone holder or just a decorative piece of historic aircraft.
It measures 35 cm wide and 26 cm tall.

Pen or phone holder
The port rear wing spar section from a WW2 Hawker Hurricane fighter aircraft converted into pen or pencil holders on the desk. The metal has been cut from the two spar sections used to make the wing spar coffee table. They have inspectors stamps and part numbers on the internal structure. The part numbers are specific to Hawker. These parts were made by Canadian Car and Foundry for aircraft flown by the RAF in WW2.
1. Lower surface with shorter even uprights
2 Upper surface that has a higher front side/lower rear side as upper wing slopes.
Both pieces are mounted on machined oak wood and have Hawker Hurricane etched into the base.
It came with other Hurricane wing parts that we acquired when they were left over from a restoration.

Wing 303 machine gun mounting brackets
These are the front and rear mounting brackets for the outer wing 303 machine guns.
Each mount comes with removable mounting bolt, adjustable fork, mount, tube section and tube end bracket - all with original part numbers. Bolted onto a solid Macassar Ebony hardwood L shaped block.
They make unusual book ends.
The wood base measures 12 cm wide and deep and 10 cm tall.

Wing 303 machine gun mounting brackets
This is one mounting bracket for the outer wing 303 machine guns.
Each mount comes with removable mounting bolt, adjustable fork, mount, tube section and tube end bracket - all with original part numbers. Bolted onto a solid Macassar Ebony hardwood L shaped block.
It can be a book end or used to hold a clamp on desk lamp of your choice. The clip goes round the new cross screw. Lamp not included.
The wood base measures 12 cm wide and deep and 10 cm tall.

Wing internal structure
A small section of wing structure from a WW2 Hawker Hurricane.
This part is only 2 ft/60 cm long and has original silver paint and CCF inspectors stamp and part number.
We believe that this is one of the wing cross brace supports that were in the outer wing that sat around the four wing 303's.
The two struts were diagonal and defined the shape of the upper wing hatch on the Hurricane.

WW2 wing panel nose art Burma
A large section of wing aluminum skin cover from a WW2 Hawker Hurricane. This panel has original dark earth and dark green paint.
The Burma flag and stencil have been hand painted onto it by me.
There is a well known picture of Wing Commander Stanford Tuck sitting in the cockpit of Hurricane V6864 which flew from RAF Coltishall with 257 ( Burma ) Squadron. This flag was painted onto the starboard cockpit side. Wing Commander RR Stanford Tuck was awarded a DSO, DFC + 2 bars, DFC(USA) and AFC ( and was a Battle of Britain Ace). This panel was painted in tribute.
This panel is from the trailing edge of the wing just in fort of the aileron on the upper surface. The paint dates it from mid 1940 to mid 41. The aircraft identity is unknown but it came with a large number of Hurricane parts.
The panel is 94 cm long and 35 cm tall with D rings to hang on the wall. There are no part numbers visible due to the thickness of the paint. It came with other panels identified as Hawker Hurricane.

Wing Hawker Hurricane panel relic
A large section of under wing aluminum skin cover from a WW2 Hawker Hurricane. This panel has original sky paint used on the under side. The stencil is original, the CCF is for Canadian Car and Foundry, they made Hurricanes for the second world war.
The panel is 61 cm wide and 35 cm wide.
There are part numbers visible on the stringers on the back. The wing drawing shows where the panel was on the aircraft

Wing spar
Two wing struts from a WW2 Royal Air Force Hawker Hurricane fighter aircraft.
These aluminium parts came from the outer wings from a stressed metal wing version . These are the longitudinal struts from the outer wing.
They each have several Hawker part numbers and were either made by Gloster or Canadian Car and Foundry.
They came with other Hurricane wing parts that were left over from a restoration.
They retain the original silver paint.
They both have reinforcing ribs on both sides and a T section at both top and bottom for strength.
The T sections were damaged and we have replaced on on the shorter piece and both on the longer piece. This involved drilling out the rivets on the damaged sections and the redialing and riveting ( using domed head aluminium rivets) the new T sections. They have then been slightly aged.
The shorter one measures 3 foot 6 inch (1.10m) long x 10 inches( 25cm) high at widest point.
The long one measures 6 foot 4 inch (1.9m) long x 10 inches high at widest point.
We have riveted two picture d rings to the upper edge to allow it to wall hang. Or if space is a problem they also look great standing up.
It looks very decorative hung on the wall as shown in the picture in our office.

Wing spar
A section of the front spar from a WW2 Hawker Hurricane. This piece comprises a section of the upper front spar that has a bullet hole in it. Plus the spar cross brace angled brackets that surround an original 303 opening.
The parts have several Hawker part numbers and inspector stamps show it was made by Gloster Aircraft for Hawker in WW2.
They came with other Hurricane wing parts that were left over from a restoration.
The parts retain the original silver paint.
We have had to drill out the original rivets from a heavily damaged front spar and then remount this on an intact spar section. The spar is the forward upper spar as it is angled to confirm to the front of the wing. The 303 openings were to allow the guns that were mounted in the gunbay to fire out through the spar structure.
There is a bullet hole in the spar front and rear sections on the left hand side. Measurements show it to be just under 8 mm in diameter which was the standard Wehrmacht weapon size. Other parts of the spar show 20mm cannon damage and as it came from a crash damaged spar it was from when it was shot down.
The part has been lightly polished and sits well on a desk or bookcase etc.
It measures 16 cm wide, 32 cm tall and 12 cm deep.

Hawker Hurricane aircraft WW2 wing panel relics Original Paint
A large section from two under wing aluminum skin covers from a WW2 Hawker Hurricane. The panels both have original WW2 paint as well as the remains of the rear of an RAF roundel.
One panel has original "sky" grey green paint which was used on the under side of aircraft until Aug 41. It had the larger roundels which is why the blue extends further to the rear. It is ca. 1m long. Price £150 plus Postage
Second panel has faded blue paint and the remains of the smaller roundel. This is possibly azure blue paint used in the mediterranean theatre firing Aug just 1942. It is ca. 1m 8 cm long. Price £150 plus Postage
Third panel is a very large section from the upper wing aluminum skin covering from a WW2 Hawker Hurricane. The panel has original WW2 paint as well as the remains of the RAF roundel.
The panel has original Dark Earth and Dark Green camouflage paint which was used on the top of the aircraft until mid 1942. It also has the edge of the blue RAF roundel . It is ca. 2m 10 cm long
We have added some new rivets and hurricane stringer sections to strengthen the structure.

WW2 Hawker Hurricane aircraft decorative wing relic
Hinge for the wing aileron mounted on black hard wood. A decorative relic piece with freely movable end piece. This piece was made by Canadian Car and Foundry, CCF. There are five separate part numbers and inspector stamps on it. There are traces of original silver paint as well as original Sky underwing green paint. 16cm wide, 9cm deep and 11cm tall.
The Hawker logo and word Hurricane etched into the base.
